As a Business Development Executive, you play an integral part on our Sales team by researching and prospecting new clients, developing lasting relationships, and have the responsibility of qualifying prospects. You must be an ambitious, achievement-oriented hunter who is passionate about technology and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

The Business Development Executive is responsible for meeting sales objectives of 787 Networks’ line of Digital Entertainment & Guest Experience services to net new clients.

This is a high-impact role that requires candidates to be sales savvy and have the ability to sell complex service offerings to Director & VP-level Executives. You’ll spend the majority of your time developing and cultivating prospects, moving them through the sales process, and closing new business.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop opportunities to obtain new clients and support revenue growth.
  • Manage a sales forecast and pipeline to ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets are met.
  • Drive the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing in order to continually secure new business.
  • Prospect for new business/lead generation through cold-calling, networking, and leveraging social media such as LinkedIn.
  • Use Salesforce to maintain current opportunities and track sales activities.
  • Provide prospects with competitive business and industry insights, and work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Product Development as it relates to planning, messaging, and lead initiatives in those relative areas.
  • The position may require light travel for tradeshows and other related activities, but is primarily based out of our office location and reports directly to the VP of Acquisitions.

Must Haves:

  • Self-motivation, positive attitude.
  • 1-2 years’ experience relating to:
    • New business development (hunting).
    • Cold calling.
    • Inside sales & B2B sales.
    • Demonstrated sales success with defined quotas and targets.
    • Willingness to work in our office located at 787 Adelaide St N, London, ON.
    • University/College graduation.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience in Technology, Hospitality, Entertainment or Media.

Base Salary:

  • $65,000 base salary plus uncapped commission potential.
